The original rules are supposed to work on an intraday basis. These results doesn’t preclude this from being profitable on a shorter time frame, of course, but nevertheless, they don’t look promising (understatement) on this time frame. interesting with the negative CAR. Does this mean that forgetting the soup, going long the Turtle-way is profitable? My guess is yes, although I have heard that at least the original turtle rules are less profitable now then back in the day.
