Cesar Alvarez
The Crew Chief
Since 2013, Cesar has written and researched for his popular quant blog, Alvarez Quant Trading. He spent ten years working with Larry Connors as Director of Research for Connors Research and TradingMarkets.com. Before that, he was a software developer on Microsoft Excel. Strategies he created have been used successfully by investors and fund managers in the US and internationally. He has been testing trading ideas and trading stocks since 2001, has co-authored three trading books, and has trained hundreds of traders.
Steven Gabriel
The Commentary Chief
Steven has an extensive history trading equities, options, futures, and volatility. Since 2003 he has been a quant-based trader, working alongside Cesar on research for hundreds of ideas and systems. Steven is also an Emergency Room physician. He now practices medicine half-time because of his success trading the financial markets.
Matt Radtke
The Forum Chief
Matt has actively traded stocks, ETFs, and options since 2008, and has traded futures and forex along the way. In 2011 he started working with Cesar at Connors Research, eventually succeeding him as Director of Research. He also runs a trading consulting business and is a top-notch trainer who can explain any concept to beginners and experts alike.

Ultimately, we don’t control the markets. As Steven always says: start your trading day with “I don’t know,” and just look for high-probability set-ups. Over time, that works out. It has for us. We can never guarantee anyone will make or lose money, but we can share what has worked for us, and the research and logic behind it.
If you’re so good at trading, why do this?
We’ve been trading a long time. Trading can be lonely, and we’d like to work and share in a community. We’ve both gotten better by working with others. The technology is there to do this virtually, and we believe we will all benefit, including us.
